Choice of Courses and Times
It is important that all golfers hold the necessary Handicap when
choosing the course to play (Please see our
Handicap Requirement Page.)
All prices quoted are in Euros and all other currencies stated are
given as a guidline at the exchange rate of the day of quoting.
• Some courses start players during high season on the 1st and 10th
tees and this indicates that there are daily tee-off times only in the
morning up to 10.00 a.m. and in the afternoon after 12.00 p.m.
• Juniors with Handicaps and proof of their age (Passport), are usually
allowed reduced rate options on all courses.
• Start times on the day of arrival or departure are problematic due to
possible delays or changes in flight times. If a golfer books golf on
these days it is entirely at the players own risk and cost.
• The courses usually group up to 4-balls and therefore it is possible
that you may play with players not in your own party. No golfer will play
alone and 5 players may be booked as a 3-ball and a 2-ball. We only
confirm the start time for the first party of a group and the other
members of the party will start at consecutive times.
Confirming Tee-off Times
As soon as the Golf Courses have confirmed the availability of the
start times the client will be informed - PLEASE NOTE:
• At the San Lorenzo Course in Vale do Lobo they normally only accept
visitor’s booking the day before.
• After being allocated Tee-off Times there is a limited period in which
they must be confirmed to each Golf Course. Below are the rules for the
client’s confirmation that the times are acceptable.
1) Tee-off Times booked 12 weeks or more in advance - Within 7 days from
confirmation of availability
2) Tee-off Times booked 12 to 5 weeks in advance - Within 3 days from
confirmation of availability
3) Tee-off Times received less than 5 weeks in advance - Within 1 day from
confirmation of availability
Cancel or Changes
A player may change golf bookings subject to availability under the
following conditions.
• Any change of a confirmed booking before arrival will involve a further
minimum charge of € 10.00.
• CANCELLATIONS
1) Any cancellations have to be 45 days prior to arrival. When observed a
full refund less € 20.00 will be made (To cover administration).
2) If less than 45 days, booking fees will be at the discretion of the Golf
Course management, and the Agency which is not liable for any additional
cost will endeavour to enquire regardling individual cases.
3) In the case of inclement weather that causes the closure of the course,
the client should have their voucher stamped by the Reception at the course
and alternative arrangements will be made by the Agency. (i.e. additional
tee time, recompense green fee voucher for a future date)
Golf Course Dress Code
Most courses maintain a dress code and reserve the right to refuse to
allow golfers to play if they appear to be inappropriately dressed.
Tailored shorts and collared shirts are the normal wear in the summer.
Long socks are not required.
Golf shoes are required and all 18-hole courses players have to wear
soft spikes on their shoes.
Important - Golf Course Rules
Courses reserve the right to refuse players and no refunds will be made by
Golf Courses or our Agency for the following logical good reasons:
1) – “No shows"
2) - A player failing to show upon request a Handicap Certificate
3) – A golfer being unacceptably dressed
4) – The golfer considered to be unfit to play
5) – A golfer requested to leave the course by the management of the
Golf Course for improper behaviour or any other reason.
Players are requested to observe all course requests on "slow play"
Insurance
All insurance matters relating to travel, possessions, playing golf, health,
or other subjects, are the entire responsibility of each player.
