The Vila Sol Course at Vilamoura is now managed by the Pestana Group.

In February 2011 the Palmares Course at Lagos added a further nine holes making a total of 27 for visitors to play.

Two Portuguese international PGA events in 2011 are firstly, the Madeira Open from 19-22 May, secondy, the Portugal Masters from 13-16 October.
