The Ocean Golf Course in Vale do Lobo is a sister course to the Royal. The name of this course is appropriately suggesting is enviable location. As an older golf course it had a strong influence in placing the Algarve as a destination in the golfing world. The fairways have a tendency to be narrow and accuracy is imperative when playing. The Ocean Golf Course holes wander through pine trees with wonderful views of the sea between the homes lining the sides of the fairways. Some of the holes take you along the cliff top with the blue Atlantic sea as the backdrop.

One of the better courses around. More open than the Royal course and less interference from housing. Course was very wet when played - possibly watered heavily in the morning - which impacted on distances.

Vale do Lobo Ocean ist auf den ersten neun Löchern etwas anspruchslos, sofern man Wasser spielen kann, aber insgesamt bietet der Platz tolle Abwechslung und mehrere wundervolle Löcher am Meer.

Nice course - Greens need work

Played in the Sunset rate which was good value. The course looks great from first glance. However the greens are not in good condition. A lot of pitch marks not repaired and very sandy bumpy surface. A lot of divots on the fairways not repaired or filled. The staff are lovely on the course and in the shops
