Salgados Description

The 18 hole Salgados Golf Course set on the flat lands behind the sandy beach of Praia de Gale. The environmental nature of the course is to associate it with a typical Links Course but with the added asset of the sun. It is very open to the elements with little vegetation and lots of water hazards. It requires a technically skilled player to achieve a good result from a round which can often be influenced by the prevailing onshore breeze.

Nice course with challenging holes as there is a lot of water and streams. The tees were ok, fairways a touch patchy but the greens were really good and a good speed.

Great service from Start to finish. Lots of facilities, can hit some balls into the nets, have a chip and putt before the round. The Starter/caddy master was a legend, always smiling even on the 2nd day when the conditions were wild! Nice seating area for once you’re done to have a beer. Many thanks to everyone for making my experience memorable. Keep up the good work

The people were amazing to meet & show us on our way. Friendly & helpful. Even checked on us on the course a number of times. Food was fab in the bar & waiting staff were friendly & efficient.
