In Feburary a new course was added to the Algarve. The Laranjal Course can be found in Quinta do Lago, near Amancil.

Three Portuguese international PGA events in 2009 are firstly, The Madeira Open from 19-22 March, secondly, The Estoril Open from 02-05 April, thirdly, The Portugal Masters from 15th October.
